Building a Local Innovation Hub: BMF and Jive Solution Expand Micro 3D Printing Capabilities in South Korea

South Korea has become one of Asia's most advanced manufacturing economies, driven by global leadership in semiconductors, consumer electronics, displays, biomedical engineering, and precision manufacturing. As components continue to shrink while performance expectations increase, manufacturers are searching for production technologies capable of delivering micron-level precision without sacrificing design flexibility.

To help meet this growing demand, BMF Precision Tech Inc.(BMF) and Jive Solution have jointly established the BMF × Jive Solution Micro Fabrication Center in Korea, creating a local hub where engineers, researchers and manufacturers can access precision micro 3D printing technologies together with comprehensive application engineering support.

A Local Innovation Hub for Korea's Growing Precision Manufacturing Industry

Across South Korea, industries including semiconductors, precision electronics, biomedical devices, microfluidics, optics, and advanced research are pushing the boundaries of component miniaturization. Conventional manufacturing technologies often struggle to produce intricate microstructures efficiently, especially during rapid product development cycles where design iterations are frequent and manufacturing flexibility is essential.

The BMF×Jive Solution Micro Fabrication Center in Korea was established to bridge this gap by providing customers with direct access to both BMF's proprietary Projection Micro Stereolithography (PµSL) technology and localized engineering expertise. Instead of simply showcasing equipment, the center enables customers to evaluate manufacturability, optimize designs for additive manufacturing, validate production processes, and accelerate the transition from concept to functional prototype.

Engineering Expertise That Extends Beyond Equipment

BMF selected Jive Solution as its strategic partner in South Korea not only for its market presence, but also for its strong technical capabilities and long-standing commitment to supporting customers throughout the entire additive manufacturing workflow. Based in South Korea, Jive Solution specializes in high-precision additive manufacturing and micro/nano fabrication technologies, serving customers across research institutions and industries including semiconductors, electronic components, connectors and sockets, biomedical devices, precision manufacturing, and display technologies.

Rather than focusing solely on equipment distribution, Jive Solution provides comprehensive engineering services beginning with application review and Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) consultation. Customers receive guidance on printability assessment, process planning, prototype fabrication, post-processing, dimensional inspection, quality verification, installation, operator training, maintenance, and long-term technical support.

Supported by quality management systems certified to AS9100D and ISO 9001, Jive Solution is well positioned to support both research projects and industrial manufacturing environments where repeatability, reliability, and process consistency are critical.

Proven Success Across Diverse Korean Applications

Jive Solutions has accumulated extensive experience with BMF technologies through its own demonstration laboratory, where microArch® S240 and microCube® T30 systems are actively operated. The company has also worked closely with customers utilizing additional BMF platforms, including the microArch® S150 and microArch® S230A, across a broad range of research and industrial projects.

These systems have demonstrated outstanding print quality, process repeatability, and operational stability, enabling the reliable production of complex microstructures with feature sizes in the tens-of-microns range. For many customers, BMF technology has provided an efficient manufacturing alternative for components that are difficult, costly, or even impossible to fabricate using conventional machining or molding techniques.

Working alongside industrial partners, universities, and research institutes—including Dplus, Jive Solutions has successfully evaluated BMF technology in applications such as precision connectors, sockets, microfluidic devices, structural microcomponents, and biochips. Throughout these collaborations, BMF's engineering team has provided responsive application testing and technical support, helping customers confidently validate PµSL technology and accelerate its practical implementation.

Driven by growing customer demand, Jive Solutions has already supplied dozens of BMF systems throughout South Korea, including multiple microArch® S150 platforms. As application requirements continue to expand across semiconductor manufacturing, biomedical engineering, precision electronics, and microdevice development, the market demand for ultra-high-precision additive manufacturing continues to increase.

A Shared Commitment to Advancing Precision Manufacturing

"BMF's PµSL technology is far more than a research-oriented micro 3D printing platform," said the Jive Solutions team. "It creates entirely new manufacturing opportunities for high-precision components. Supported by BMF's exceptional equipment quality, printing accuracy, system stability, and responsive technical collaboration, we are helping Korean customers extend micro 3D printing from early-stage research into practical engineering validation and production-oriented process development."

The launch of the BMF×Jive Solution Micro Fabrication Center in Korea reinforces both companies' long-term commitment to supporting South Korea's innovation ecosystem. By providing localized expertise, comprehensive engineering services, and direct access to BMF's industry-leading micro 3D printing technologies, the center will help bridge the gap between concept development, functional validation, and industrial implementation.
